Two games of Chain of Command played. First, Rory’s British Vs Ivan’s Germans in defence. Played ‘Flank Attack’. First time we’d played this scenario, it wasn’t one that appealed to me in the past but turned out to be a great game. Unfortunately for Rory, the dice gods were very much against him, so much so it was embarrassing to watch! Needless to say the British attack failed! Better luck next time Rory, we’ll play your Americans next time.
The second game saw Colin’s Russians up against Jeremy’s Italians in defence. Another brutal looking game, this time for the Russians! Hard cover and HE fire helped fending off the Russian attack.
