This week’s game saw a rather weak force of Germans attempting to take on a superior Russian one.
The dice gods were against them from the start with a rather disappointing score of 3 for Force Support.
This was compounded by the fact that the each of the Russians platoons had a 7 point advantage for Force Support from the respective Force ratings.
Not a good start for the Germans! Their only option was to take a Flamethrower team in the hope of ambushing any unsuspecting Russian armour.
However, Russian stupidity would play no role in this game but the Germans did managed to inflict substantial damage to the Russian infantry, but as expected the Russian Armour proved decisive.
Even with the Russian advantage it proved to be an enjoyable game for all and good to see Colin unleash his newly acquired Russian horde.
